Some high quality H2O

I’m not sure if you know this or not… But water and me have never mixed all that well. Unless it is ice cold, I dislike the taste and it usually causes massive stomach cramps for me. So when I was told by the hospital that I would have to drink 3 liters of water a day… I became afraid.

I mostly pictured that every sip would taste horrible and I would be in constant agony trying to force this stuff down my throat. Why Oh Why do I have to drink so much of it… Yadda yadda.. I was a blubbery fool.

I have now managed to drink my 3 liters of water each day this week, and here’s what I can tell you:

The cramping stopped after the first day. Maybe I’ve just been so dehydrated for so long my body did not know what to do with the liquid.

I found out that there are flavors you can add to water which have 0 calories and 0 sugar so I am able to use them once my shakes start next week as well! (SCORE)

And lastly… I find now the only hard part is getting that third liter in. The first and second I have knocked back before 2pm….

Oh! And its true what they say, water helps your tummy feel full. Its not the same full feeling I get from eating… Not as enjoyable, a little hollow… But it takes the edge off of the hunger. Which is nice.

I’ve managed to stay within my 1200 calories per day this week so far… And next week when the shakes start it drops to 900!
