The more you know

SOOOOOO I need to go shopping for walking shoes, that look nice for work. I say this because the more I walk, the harder it’s getting on my ankles and feet… Yesterday I took the stairs DOWN from the second floor, and pulled a muscle / twisted my ankle.. Oh the joys of being too fat for your body to hold you up.

Anyway, I’m still trucking, just took it a bit easier today and didn’t walk like a speed demon (not that my “speed demon” pace is actually all that fast LOL) and all was OK… though still the hunt will begin for cheap / comfortable, walking shoes that offer good support.

Wish me luck… post suggestions in the comments below!

  • Sketchers! I had the exact same problem, but found these really comfortable, nice-looking Sketchers at Armstrong & Richardson or Softmoc. Different colours and might still be on sale!

  • My suggestion is to scratch out “cheap”. Invest in a GOOD pair. A cheap pair will wear out quickly, and likely lack proper support.when it comes to shoes, you get what you pay for. With your foot problems already (the toe), you should go see a podiatrist, or at the very least treat yourself to a good pair of shoes that will last.

    • I will have to save up for a good pair, but I will start looking around 🙂 I don’t want to go too cheap, but even with my raise I’m not rolling in cash yet hehehe. But yes I agree a good pair is best 😀 Thanks!
